Refunds
Who handles refunds for Aurora resources, when the 14-day withdrawal right applies, and when I will refund you.
Effective 7 August 2026.
Who decides
Section titled “Who decides”Not me. I license Aurora resources to Tebex, and Tebex resells that licence to you as seller of record. No contract of sale is formed between you and me, and Tebex takes responsibility for fulfilment and chargebacks. Refunds are processed under Tebex’s terms.
What I can do is press the button. Tebex’s creator panel lets me refund a transaction, and the amount comes back out of what Tebex owes me. So a refund is my decision to make, on Tebex’s rails and under Tebex’s rules.
Those rules have edges I do not control. A transaction that already has a chargeback raised against it cannot be refunded this way. PayPal payments older than 180 days cannot be refunded at all. And the money can take up to 14 business days to reach you, depending on how you paid.
The 14-day withdrawal right, and why it usually does not apply
Section titled “The 14-day withdrawal right, and why it usually does not apply”If you bought as a consumer in the European Union, Directive 2011/83/EU normally gives you 14 days to withdraw from a distance purchase without giving a reason.
Digital content is the exception. Under Article 16(m), that right is lost once delivery begins, provided you gave express consent for it to begin immediately and acknowledged that you were giving up the right. Tebex asks for exactly that at checkout, and downloads start straight away, so in practice the withdrawal right is gone as soon as you have the files.
This is not a trick and it is not specific to Aurora. It is how every EU seller of instantly delivered digital goods works.
When I usually refund
Section titled “When I usually refund”- The resource does not do what the documentation says it does, and I cannot fix it in a reasonable time.
- You were charged twice for the same thing.
- You bought the wrong product and have not downloaded it.
When I usually do not
Section titled “When I usually do not”- You changed your mind, or the server project was abandoned.
- You did not read what it supports before buying. The documentation is public, complete and free to read before you spend anything: the dependencies, the frameworks, the inventories, the resmon cost.
- It conflicts with another resource that overwrites the same things. The installation page lists what the HUD takes over.
- You want a refund and to keep using it.
Your statutory rights are separate from all of this
Section titled “Your statutory rights are separate from all of this”If the resource does not conform to what was described, Directive (EU) 2019/770 on digital content gives you rights against the seller (repair, a price reduction, or termination) and nothing on this page limits them. Talk to me first: most of what looks like a broken resource is a configuration mismatch, and the Support panel usually names it in under a minute.
Chargebacks
Section titled “Chargebacks”A chargeback ends the licence granted by that purchase, and access to buyer channels in the Discord goes with it.
It is also the slowest way to get your money. Once a chargeback is open the transaction can no longer be refunded normally, so the quick route closes the moment you take the long one, and your bank decides the outcome weeks later.
Open a ticket first. I would rather fix it, or refund it in a couple of clicks, than argue with a bank about it.
